Qiming Peng, master supervisor, received his Ph.D. degree from Jilin University in 2015 and the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars in 2020. His current research interests focus on device physics and spin-optoelectronics in organic/perovskite semiconductor devices. Before that, He worked as an engineer for R&D of OLED in Shenzhen China Star Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. from 2015 to 2016. He then worked as a research associate at the State Key Lab of Supramolecular Structure and Materials of China from 2016 to 2017. His mainachievements are as follows. First, he has achieved a new kind of OLED based on the emission of doublet excitons, and has proposed an approach to greatly improve the stability of organic luminescent radicals. Second, he has developed a new method to study OLEDsin situwith non-contact, by using the magnetic field effects as a tool. Third, he has reported the first microcavity top-emission perovskite LED with EQE > 20%. Up to date, he has published over 40 papers in high-quality journals such as Nature Materials. His citations in SCI are over 2000 times. As the first inventor, he has been granted 2 U.S. patents and 4 Chinese patents.
